Why Single-Use?

One-shot flange nuts are designed with a controlled deformation feature that ensures precise bearing preload on first installation. Once removed, the nut's locking mechanism is compromised and cannot provide the same level of safety and precision. Reusing these nuts can lead to bearing failure, wheel detachment, and serious accidents.

Compatibility:

Fits standard AL-KO, Knott, and BPW axle spindles with M24 × 1.5mm thread, including:

  • 160mm brake drums
  • 200mm brake drums
  • Sealed bearing hub assemblies

Installation Requirements:

  • Must be installed with a calibrated torque wrench
  • Torque to 280–300 Nm (290 Nm typical)
  • Replace every time the nut is removed

⚠️ Important: Always replace hub nuts when servicing wheel bearings. The small cost of a new nut is insignificant compared to the safety risk of wheel failure. Order extras to have on hand for maintenance.
