What is a Brake / Stop Lamp?
A brake lamp (stop lamp) is a red lamp mounted at the rear of a trailer that activates when the tow vehicle's brakes are applied. It provides a clear visual warning to following traffic that the vehicle is slowing or stopping, and is a mandatory safety requirement under Australian Design Rules.
